Extract tables from PDF to CSV
Drop a PDF and pull the tables straight back into CSV in your browser. Files never upload, no signup, no watermark. Works with digital PDFs from Excel, Google Sheets, invoices, reports and statements.
How PDF to CSV works
- Drop your PDF — up to 10 files per batch, 50 MB each.
- We read the text positions — a heuristic table extractor detects column boundaries from digital PDFs.
- Download the CSV — one file or the whole batch as a ZIP.
Why this PDF to CSV converter
- Stays on your device. PDFs never leave the browser. No server, no account, no tracking.
- No watermark, no signup. Free and unlimited for personal batches.
- Batch in one click. Ten PDFs, ten CSVs, one ZIP.
- Pairs with our CSV to PDF tool. Round-trip your tables end to end.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this work with scanned PDFs?
- Not yet. Scanned PDFs need OCR — support is coming. For now, use digital PDFs where the text is selectable.
- Are files uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser. The PDF stays on your device, the CSV is built locally.
- What if the table has complex layout?
- Column boundaries are detected by text position. Complex layouts (merged cells, multi-line rows) may need manual cleanup after export.
- What is the file limit?
- Up to 10 files per batch, 50 MB each, 200 MB total.
